An eye for lines
Looking at buildings is part of my everyday work. Lines, proportions, materials and the way light falls on a façade — that eye stays with me long after I've left the drawing table.
I'm especially drawn to architecture from earlier eras: carved details, stone arches and the traces time leaves behind. But modern buildings fascinate me just as much — bold curves, glass and steel, a façade that plays with rhythm.
Moments, not perfection
I photograph whatever I happen to discover along the way: a classic car parked on the street, a plane coming in to land, backlit leaves or a quiet scene on a busy pavement.
For me, photography isn't only about perfect pictures. It's about holding on to a moment — forever. I photograph for myself, because I love doing it. That is what wayside.view is about: noticing the world from the wayside.
Beyond the camera
When I'm not taking pictures, I'm active in sports — and I write and sing my own songs with my guitar.
Music and photography have a lot in common for me: both are about mood, rhythm and capturing something honest.
